Due to PNoy's declaration that August 23 (Monday) is a regular working day, our Social Dining Event is postponed on said date.

Intramurals 2010 participation

Intramurals 2010 participation is 10% of the 40% in Class Standing.

When: August 19-22, 2010

How: Be a player, member of a committee or join the gimmick parade.

After the Intrams, write about your active participation in the Intramurals and your realizations in a 1 short bond paper (just like writing in your journal or diary). Also attached 2 - 5 photos of you during the Intramurals.

As per agreement, 10% is guaranteed when JPIA or IBS will become the Champion or if you are a player and your team won 1st place.

Submission of your reflection on Intrams 2010 (together with your Midterm requirement) will be on August 27, 2010 at the Accountancy Department.

Lecture on Career Management

Mock Job Interview

To all PDVM101 students:

The SIGN-UP Sheet for the Mock Job Interview is already available at the Accountancy Department (at the Student Assistant's desk).

Signing up is on a "First come. First reservation" basis. Take note of your scheduled interview.

Interview schedules are set on August 27 (8-12nn, 1-5pm); August 28 (8-12nn); September 24 & October 8 (8-12nn, 1-5pm).

During the actual date of your interview, please observe the following:
1. Be in your business attire. Look professional.
2. Bring your application letter and resume.
3. Your application letter should be in a 1-page short bond paper.
4. Your resume is at most 2 pages only (short bond paper) with recent picture (passport size or 2x2 size). It must include personal information & contact details, objective, skills possessed, educational attainment including achievements, work experience/s, seminars/trainings attended, organizations joined and position and 3 character references with contact numbers.

**Fee is inclusive of food for cocktail and lunch. Payment of the fee will be on August 14 - 27, 2010 at the Accountancy Department from 1.30-4.30pm.

***Social dining activity is 10% of the 40% in Class Standing. Failure to attend the event will be equivalent to an INC grade. Completion of grade requires the student to attend the Social Dining activity next semester.
